Step 1
Site visit and quote
We look at access, ground conditions and what the garage or workshop will actually be used for, then give you a firm quote before anything starts.
We build garage slabs across South East Melbourne, from Dandenong and Noble Park through to Cranbourne, Keysborough and Hampton Park, each one reinforced and finished to carry a vehicle, workbenches and daily use without shifting or cracking. A garage slab works harder than most people expect, so it starts with proper site levelling and compaction, solid formwork, and a thickness and reinforcement pattern that actually suits what's going on top of it. It's built the same way as any other concrete slab we pour, just reinforced to a higher load spec for vehicles.
Whether it's a new garage, a workshop, or a shed base that needs to handle a car or trailer, we treat the prep with the same care as the pour, because that's the part of the job that decides how well the slab lasts. Get in touch and we'll talk through what your garage or workshop actually needs.
Fast, no-obligation quotes across South East Melbourne.
A garage slab built properly stays flat and even under a vehicle, day after day, without dips, cracks or uneven settling. Storage systems, shelving and workbenches sit level because the floor underneath them does. There's nothing to think about once it's down, no soft spots, no trip hazards, no patch jobs, just a floor that gets used the way it's meant to be. If the entry needs a step or two down into it, we pour steps and ramps to the same standard.
Our process
Step 1
We look at access, ground conditions and what the garage or workshop will actually be used for, then give you a firm quote before anything starts.
Step 2
The site gets excavated, levelled and compacted, formwork goes in, and the slab is reinforced and poured to the thickness the job actually needs.
Step 3
The slab is left to cure properly before it takes any vehicle weight, and you're left with a garage floor that's ready for regular use.
A garage slab that isn't properly compacted and reinforced underneath will move, crack or settle unevenly once a vehicle's parked on it regularly, and that's the exact problem we build against. We level and compact the site properly before formwork goes in, set reinforcement to suit the load the slab actually needs to carry, and finish it to a standard that holds up to daily use, not just the first inspection. Quotes are firm before work starts, and we turn up when we say we will, because a garage slab job that runs late holds up everything else you're trying to get done.
FAQ
Yes, we design the reinforcement and slab thickness around what's actually going to sit or drive on it, whether that's a family car, a work vehicle or a loaded trailer.
Concrete needs time to cure properly before it takes vehicle weight. We'll give you a clear timeframe for your job so you know exactly when it's ready to use.
We handle site prep, formwork, reinforcement, the pour and the finish, so there's nothing you need to arrange separately.
We back our workmanship. Ask us about the specifics for your garage slab when you get a quote.
